PANGAIA & Timberland's Boots Look Pretty in Pink
When two brands make their collaborative debut, our first question naturally tends to be, "why?" Sometimes, the answer presents itself, as is the case of Timberland and PANGAIA with their first footwear collection, in which their shared views on environmental responsibility take point.
Wherever you go, you'd struggle to mistake a PANGAIA product. Its sweatsuits, marked with characteristic chest and thigh branding in an assortment of color treatments, have become an industry staple.
Highly favored, not only for its minimalist, quality designs but its use of sustainable, environmentally conscious materials.
A collaboration, especially in footwear, that doesn't capitalize on these foundations would certainly beg the question, "why?"
Similarly to PANGAIA, Timberland has made its environmental responsibility and forward vision as a brand a crucial part of its operations and output with innovations such as GreenStride.
For the Premium Fabric 6-Inch Boot, Timberland and PANGAIA have matched a world-renowned, iconic product with a combination of renewable materials (which includes responsibly grown rubber, abaca plant fiber, and organically grown cotton), finished with a triple-threat of distinct colors.
Of course, no Timberland 6-Inch boot collection would be complete without a touch of "Wheat," which appears as a one-tone finish, as per PANGAIA's aesthetics. Two additional colorways opt for statement hues of "Galaxy Pink" and "Palm Green."
Wrapping up the four-piece collection (which can be found online on November 3) is the Fabric Slip-On Mule in "Stone," designed for circularity in line with Timberland’s Timberloop, which asks customers to send back the product once no longer in use.
