Pharrell & NIGO Turned the LV Runway Into a Private Auction
Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2025 show was the Pharrell and NIGO show.
Not only did the longstanding friends and creative partners design the latest LV collection but, after all 84 looks had been shown, the duo took to the stage for a finale presenting treasured grails from their own personal collections. Some of these are available to shop at auction.
Twenty-four display cases lined the circular set of the Louis Vuitton FW25 show. The contents of each box were obscured by frosted glass that went clear during Pharrell and NIGO’s finale bow, exposing a range of archival collectibles.
“Each archive unit illustrates a cultural moment in time: a concept, phenomenon or experience that impacted — or was impacted by — Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams and Nigo,” according to a statement from LV.
Some of these pieces were loaned from private collectors and borrowed from the Louis Vuitton archives. Meanwhile, the rest were NIGO and Pharrell’s personal belongings, many of which will soon be available to buy through JOOPITER, the digital-first auction house founded by Pharrell.
Starting on January 24 and closing on February 5, a wide range of personal items are up for grabs in the auction.
From NIGO, pieces include an original Andy Warhol Campbell's Tomato Soup print (circa 1978), and two unopened boxes gifted to the designer by Takashi Murakami, each filled with mystery artwork.
Plus, a wide range of Louis Vuitton Millionaires sunglasses, the first design he and Pharrell created for LV back in 2004.
From Pharrell’s side, there’s a range of personal memorabilia available from the Louis Vuitton Men’s creative director: old N.E.R.D. merch, custom Jacob & Co. jewels, and the tall Vivienne Westwood hat he seemingly wore for the entire early 2010s.
While it’ll be a little while before you can buy any of the Louis Vuitton FW25 collection designed by NIGO and Pharrell, some of the personal relics that inspired the designers are hitting auction this week.
