Regardless of his relentless schedule and commitments, Virgil Abloh always found time to give back: whether that be through creating a website that has the blueprint to starting a brand or inviting over 3,000 students to his first-ever Louis Vuitton show.

The designer would often say that "everything I do is for the 17-year-old version of myself,” and the Virgil Abloh™ “Post-Modern” Scholarship Fund is continuing his work in supporting the next generation of fashion leaders since the designer's passing.

Launched in 2020, the fund provides scholarships to students of academic promise of Black, African-American, or African descent, helping to foster inclusivity in the fashion industry. Peter Arnold, FSF Executive Director, said: “At the heart of the FSF’s mission is elevating the voices and creative visions of talented youth from underrepresented backgrounds who are the future leaders of our industry."

Celebrating its work and the newest class of scholars, we are launching a capsule collection with Off-White™.

First being auctioned off at a New York event for the 2022 class of “Post-Modern” Scholars, the collection will be made available on the Highsnobiety Shop on April 13 with all proceeds going towards supporting the fund.

The collection re-uses a format Abloh previously used to show support for young Black businesses, all forms of love, and Black women while endorsing various initiatives. This time around, a bold red font on the front of a white t-shirt and hoodie read, "I Support Post-Modern Scholarship Fund."

“Virgil’s cultural legacy is one of those things that’s so big we can’t quite fathom the dimension of it from where we’re standing currently in history,” says Highsnobiety Editor-in-Chief Thom Bettridge, who interviewed and wrote about Abloh extensively during his career. “So being able to contribute to that legacy in this way is an enormous honor for us as a publication, as fans of his, and as chroniclers of his work.”

Joining these is a graphic varsity jacket covered in collegiate-style patches and featuring Off-White™'s signature diagonal lines running down the left sleeve. On the back, one patch reads "class of 2013," a reference to the year that the brand was established.

Consisting of a t-shirt, hoodie, and varsity jacket, check out the full collection below which will be available to shop on the Highsnobiety Shop on April 13. Also, to find out more about the scholarship fund and make a donation click here.
