PUMA’s RS-X collection takes the bulky ’80s RS silhouette to extremes. The kicks get even bigger, the materials are mixed, and the colorways get more striking, all of which reimagine the original RS. And on August 1st, PUMA is dropping two new colorways to the RS-X lineup: RS-X Hard Drive and RS-X Bold.

Both feature the RS running technology on the midsole that’s been providing unbeatable cushioning since the ’80s. They combine leather, textile, and rubber for overlays, and display the RS-X branding on the tongue webbing and on the molded sockliner. The RS-X Bold also features an oversized logo on the lateral and medial side.

Now let’s talk about the dope colorways: the RS-X Hard Drive’s gray upper gets punched up with vibrant yellow and red, making this an eye-catching kick that brings that extra something to your ’fit. And the RS-X Bold’s colorways were inspired by the blocking on retro toys.

Peep the photos above for a closer look. PUMA’s RS-X Hard Drive and RS-X Bold colorways retail for $110 and are available on PUMA.com and in stores.
