Double Tap to Zoom

PUMA launches the fifth phase of its ongoing collaboration with Rhuigi Villaseñor, founder and creative director of RHUDE, championing hidden gems, community cornerstones, and local heroes of New York. The L.A. native taps into his social surroundings, love of music, sports, and streetwear in his pieces — and his collab with PUMA is no different. The duo cultivates this sensibility and hone in on one of the cultural capitals and pillars of streetwear, the Big Apple.

The collaboration takes us on a tour of the city’s well-known gems, from pizza to basketball, with each capsule focusing on aspects of the city that make it one of a kind. Their next stop? The local barbershops are a place for fresh haircuts, community bonding, and an atmosphere that just oozes NYC all over.

PUMA and Rhuigi are paying tribute to all the barbers of New York with a curated selection of barbershop-inspired gear. It's got specially designed crests that will make you feel like you’re part of the crew, and of course, they couldn’t have a barbershop collection without universally recognizable red and blue pinstripes. Over plush velour shirts, you can wear matching pinstripe sets that include track jackets, shorts, and caps, for a look that’s both preppy and classic.

The sneaker game is strong, too, with their seminal basketball low-tops, the PUMA Clyde has returned once more in two premium versions. Featuring a blue and white colorway, they’ve got a tumbled leather upper, bold PUMA lettering on the tongue, and the PUMA Formstrip on the sides has a fuzzy suede finish, giving a cheeky retro feel.

So, whether you’re a proud barber or a customer, show some love to these local heroes by repping the collection. The fifth PUMA x Rhuigi drop will be available in PUMA flagship stores and on PUMA.com.
