What We’re Saying: Pyer Moss has unveiled the latest colorway of its first independent sneaker, the “Sculpt.” Following black/yellow, white/yellow, black/blue, and black/red pairs, the sneaker will now be released in teal.

The sneaker has been in the works since 2017 and embodies Pyer Moss’ aesthetic, in that it mixes streetwear codes with luxury and futurism. The bulbous midsole is its most eye-catching feature, making the sneaker a real statement piece.

In a world where luxury brands often look to sportswear companies for inspiration when it comes to sneakers, it’s refreshing to see Pyer Moss forge its own path with regard to its visual identity. The Sculpt is unlike anything on the market, allowing it to stand out from the rest and offer sneakerheads something new and exciting. Pyer Moss’ release strategy also helps. As the brand slowly releases more colorways of the design it allows the model to breathe and establish itself.

Look for the “Teal” Pyer Moss The Sculpt to land at the brand’s own site on December 18 at 12pm EST for $595. Stay tuned for more information.
