Gore Wear

Gore Wear, a GORE subdivision focusing on performance apparel, has released its award-winning R5 GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ running jacket. The jacket was voted ISPO 2020’s product of the year in the running category, officially making it the gear all serious runners — or those pretending to be serious about their running — need.

The jacket combines Gore Wear’s windstopper lining with breathable Polartec Alpha insulation to create a shell that will keep you warm and dry, while remaining breathable. The outer shell of the jacket is made out of a translucent material and the jacket itself features reflective detailing, ensuring the wearer is visible in low-light situations.

Gore Wear’s jacket only weighs 250 grams, which is so light you’ll hardly feel it on your way to your personal best. It comes in multiple colorways ranging from all black to white and hi-vis yellow.

If you’re looking to keep your summer running momentum going into the fall, when it gets a little colder and wetter, there’s no better jacket to add to your wardrobe.

The Gore Wear R5 GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ running jacket is available now online for $270 / €250.
