Over the weekend, premium luggage provider RIMOWA celebrated the opening of its first flagship store in Japan, located in the Ginza 7-Chome district. The event provided guests with the opportunity to experience RIMOWA’s personalization range, which offers customizable handles, color wheels and luggage tags for the RIMOWA Classic Collection. Artist MAMI was also on-hand demonstrating a Japanese calligraphic live painting.

The likes of Takashi Murakami, Hiroshi Fujiwara, Emi Suzuki, Ryo Ryusei, Yu Shirota, Rina Fukushi, Makiko Takizwa and Saila Kunikida, as well as AMBUSH’s Yoon and Verbal, came out to support RIMOWA and check out the new Japan flagship.

The occasion also marked the launch of RIMOWA's collaboration with AMBUSH, featuring a new luggage handle and luggage tag created exclusively for the Ginza 7 store. The florescent orange leather travel accessories were also a part of RIMOWA’s personalization range.

RIMOWA's new Ginza flagship is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
