For many, Rolex remains the undisputed king of luxury watches. Its timepieces are the perfect blend of form and function, the definition of classic. First introduced in 1945, the Rolex Datejust is a staple in the brand's lineup, combining the signature gold and steel aesthetic. As with all Rolex pieces, the Datejust doesn't come cheap. It can currently sell for more than $5,000, meaning it'll take us a while to save up, to say the least.

However, from now until 11:59 P.M. EST on Friday, October 25, StockX — the stock market of things — is giving customers the chance to get their hands on the classic Rolex Datejust for a fraction of its retail price. To be in with a chance of owning this classic piece for less, you need to place a bid of $1,000. You'll only be charged if you win.

Though the Rolex name itself is probably enough to garner attention, the Datejust packs a stainless steel and 18k gold bracelet, as well as an 18k yellow gold bezel. It's a true investment piece.
