The Sega Genesis Mini Might Be the Best Retro Console Yet
Earlier this year we reported that the Sega Genesis Mini would arrive this September with forty retro games. Ahead of next month's release, reviews are starting to filter through and the relatively late entry to the retro console race looks to be the best yet.
The Verge review notes that while the hardware is pretty much what you would expect; “cute and small and solid in an unremarkable way,” the impressive, genre-spanning library is what really sets it apart. There are the classics (Sonic The Hedgehog, Streets of Rage 2, etc), as well as a number of noteworthy third-party titles and multi-player games that are sure to keep you occupied for hours.
