Stephen Curry is the latest and greatest face of Stone Island. Need I say more?

That is, what can I say that isn't already immediately obvious? Steph Curry, one of the greatest NBA players to ever do it, is modeling for Stone Island, the epitome of street-sport-luxe.

Two titans at the tops of their respective games coming together for a titanic team-up. The story all but writes itself.

Now, what I can add is that this is creates a couple particularly intriguing elements to Steph Curry's menswear lore.

Curry wasn't always a big outfit kinda guy but he certainly is these days and this Stone Island star turn reflects his stylistic come-up. Curry was always unbeatable on the hardwood and now his off-court steeze has synced up.

Not that this is a minor moment for Stone Island, either. Curry is one of the Italian luxury label's biggest gets following a string of already huge celeb cosigns that range from Rockets star Jalen Green to MF'in Spike Lee. Fact of the matter is, everyone knows that Stone Island is final boss fashion.

But notice what exactly Curry's wearing in the Stone Island campaign: This is bigger than clothes. Though it is also all about clothes.

Curry's Stone Island campaign intentionally coincides with the late-February NBA All-Star Weekend, of which Curry is (of course) involved. And though Curry's taking the court alongside LeBron James, Nikola Jokić, and Anthony Edwards, his mind isn't on the game alone.

When they arrive at the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, Curry will present the just over half-dozen young athletes who would've participated in the 2024 edition of his youth basketball retreat, Curry Camp, with their own version of the bespoke Stone Island tracksuit that Curry wears in the above imagery.

This debut team-up between Curry's Under Armour-powered Curry Brand imprint and Stone Island, the collaborative Stoney set will not be released to the public.

"Curry Camp has always provided mentoring for junior athletes to empower them on their journey," Curry said in a statement. "I am so very excited that these exceptional athletes will be recognized in a special way during the All-Star Weekend.”

“We’re proud to partner with Curry Brand during this unique All-Star Weekend experience and support these promising athletes,” Robert Triefus, Stone Island CEO, continued.

This is vintage Curry and new-school Stone Island, which really began doubling down on its basketball-aligned initiatives in the last year.

As big a win as it is for Curry and Stone Island, it's a bigger win for the kids. For the culture!
