Los Angeles-based artist Sterling Ruby announces S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA., a menswear and womenswear ready-to-wear clothing and accessories collection, both inspired by and evolved from Ruby's artworks over the past decade, including soft sculpture, quilts, backdrops and garments.

“I’ve always been interested in the behavioral power that comes with clothing," Ruby says. "For years I have been privately exploring garments as a medium, as something that impacts the way one can think, feel, and move. I couldn’t be more excited to finally put my clothing out into the world.”

Ruby's S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. collection will debut at Pitti Immagine Uomo no. 96 where Ruby was announced as a special guest designer, joining Givenchy. This show will also mark the first time the collection is available to the public. Be sure to follow @s.r.studio.la.ca on Instagram and sign up for updates via srstudio.com to stay informed on what is to come from Sterling Ruby and S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA.
