According to developers, Streets of Rage 4 is an all-new continuation of the popular arcade beat 'em up series, and will be rendered in classic 2D action, where players will take to the streets to rid a city from the rule of a crime syndicate.

Additionally, the preview trailer above reveals that Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the iconic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, a fresh story, a variety of dangerous stages and the return of the series' main protagonists, Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding.

The company has not announced which platforms the game will be available on, nor its release date yet, but for additional details, head to the official website of Streets of Rage 4 below.
