What We’re Saying: Following releases of the black and beige colorways, Stüssy is back with yet another take on the Air Force 1. This time around, the streetwear brand has utilized a hand-dyed technique on the iconic sneaker, offering it in five standout colorways.

Stüssy partnered with Lookout & Wonderland — an art project focusing on the exploration of the applied arts — to hand-dye the Air Force 1s in Los Angeles. The sneakers have been dyed with plants selected for their color and skin soothing medicinal properties, as the five individual dyes signify Stüssy's five world tour cities.

Optioned in blue, yellow, purple, green, and red, the Forces appear to be a dyed version of Stüssy's previously-released beige Air Force 1. Details such as the double S logo on the heel and toebox are what make this project — and to be honest, most Stüssy x Nike collabs — a must-cop.

The Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1s are the latest foray following what was a very busy 2020 for the two brands, who have a long and successful history of collaborations together. Last year alone, Stüssy and Nike released three colorways of the Air Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 and two colorways of the Air Zoom Kukini.

Stüssy's hand-dyed Air Force 1s will be available in limited quantity beginning this Friday, January 29 at 1 p.m. EST.
