SUPER by Retrosuperfuture with has linked up with leading Swedish fashion retailer Caliroots on two bespoke sunglasses designs based on SUPER’s Drew Mama frame.

The Drew Mama is a broad and oversized frame with near-oval rims, a low nose bridge, and bold temples. Together, Super and Caliroots reimagined the acetate design in two new matte colorways—Citrus and Lime—inspired by Scandinavia’s long summer days and idyllic evenings.

Limited to just 40 pairs per color, both models also feature uniquely tinted lenses for a bold color combination and finish. The Lime version features a deep green matte crystal acetate with bordeaux lenses while the Citrus option combines an amber matte crystal acetate with dark green lenses.

SUPER by Retrosuperfuture was founded in Italy in 2007 and has quickly gained notoriety for its eclectic, fashion-forward collections. “All the companies that were in the market were developing boring eyewear,” explains founder Daniel Beckerman. “I kept looking at all the experimental independent clothing brands and wondered why no one had yet dared to develop a quirky, bold line of eyewear.” Since the brand’s inception, its frames have been admired and worn by the likes of Kanye West, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, A$AP Rocky, and many others.

Each limited edition colorway is available now in-store and online via Caliroots, SOTO Berlin, and Storm Copenhagen. Find out more via the link below.
