T.I. is the latest guest to appear on Complex’s popular Sneaker Shopping web series. At New York City’s Stadium Goods, the rapper talks about his love of Nike's Air Max sneakers while growing up, what it was like to meet Michael Jordan, and the time DJ Khaled hooked him up with a pair of the Nike Air Jordan III “Grateful.”

When discussing what his shoe game was like in his youth, T.I. discusses how he always made sure to set aside $150 for a fresh pair of kicks. Explaining why, he tells presenter Joe La Puma that sneakers are the foundation of any good ’fit.

In addition to discussing meeting His Airness and getting a pair of Jordans signed, T.I. also talks about the recent Nike Colin Kaepernick ad campaign and how important it was to him and the community.

Watch the video above to find out which Air Jordans T.I. considers the best and, of course, which sneakers he ends up buying for himself.
