Double Tap to Zoom

At the ripe old age of just 24, it’s a miracle that music industry wunderkind Tayla Parx has time to do anything else. The three-time Grammy nominee has honed and perfected her craft having written and produced music for industry vets like Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, and Chris Brown.

Not only that, Tayla is an accomplished actress who you may remember seeing in the 2007 film adaptation of Hairspray so it’s safe to say she leads a very active life.

Having produced work for so many other prominent artists it was only a matter of time for Tayla to focus on a project of her own with the debut of her first mixtape earlier this year, Tayla Made.

Through our latest partnership with ASICS, we explored Tayla’s reasons for staying active, and how a healthy mind and a healthy body fuels her career.

As a part of ASICS’s new campaign, I MOVE ME, Tayla gives us an inside look at how movement is essential to her creative process and workflow.

Tayla gets moving in some fresh ASICS gear to channel her inner creative which you'll be able to actually shop by clicking through the highlighted annotations in each photo.

Check out Tayla’s lookbook above and below for inspiration to get your creative juices flowing.
