Telfar's Bag Security Program is back — and this time, it's taking place on Telfar TV.

Announced last month, Telfar TV is a public access channel that serves as a hub for all Telfar product drops, as well as other brand-related content. Currently, it's available for free on Apple TV, Roku and Google Play, as well as on a dedicated webpage.

From October 5, 12 p.m. EDT through October 6, 11:59 p.m. EDT, prospective shoppers can head to the channel to cop the brand's coveted logo bag in any color and size of their choosing. Telfar will then produce all orders for shipment by March 31, 2022.

Though the specifics of the buying process remain unclear, it seems that Telfar TV will broadcast a special QR code that shoppers can scan, leading them to a webpage on which to place their order.

This QR-based system will prevent bots from snatching up stock — however, there's no word on whether the checkout process will include tricky CAPTCHA codes, a topic of much discussion in August, when the anti-bot measure foiled many a hopeful customer in their pursuit of the bag.

It remains to be seen whether Telfar's new format will hold up against the hordes of shoppers that rush to cop the bag every time it restocks. (See Murphy's law: anything that can go wrong will go wrong.)

Despite the uncertainty, this next Bag Security Program is sure to entertain, at least. During the event, Telfar TV will air performances, special announcements, and "call-ins from surprise guests to chat with Telfar [Clemens]." So tune in, and get your iPhone cameras ready.
