New Clip Shows Tesla Roadster 2's Jaw-Dropping Speed in Action
Tesla CEO Elon Musk first introduced the company's next-generation electric Roadster in 2017 and now we can see the vehicle's incredible specifications in action thanks to a new clip posted on Twitter. Watch above.
"Zero to sixty faster than you can read this caption" is the accompanying caption, with a comment below stating that the Roadster 2 hit 60mph halfway through the clip. For those keeping count, that's 0-60mph in 1.9 seconds.
Tesla says the Roadster 2.0 will hit 100mph in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of more than 250mph, and a 620-mile battery range. The four-seater boasts a sleek classic sportscar silhouette and is set to arrive in 2020 with a base price of $200,000.
