A24 will soon be releasing its new military drama, The Kill Team, starring Alexander Skarsgård and Nat Wolff. The movie — from writer-director Dan Krauss — is based on the true story told in Krauss' 2013 documentary of the same name.

Wolff portrays US soldier Andrew Briggman in The Kill Team. After witnessing other members of the military killing innocent civilians in Afghanistan, Briggman must decide if he wants to keep his mouth shut and deal with it or report the soldiers. Briggman is under constant pressure from his superior, Sergeant Deeks (Skarsgård), who insists the killing is justified. If Briggman chooses to tell on his comrades, he is likely to suffer the same fate as the innocent civilians.

Rob Morrow co-stars in The Kill Team, while Adam Long, Jonathan Whitesell, Brian Marc, Oliver Ritchie, Zackary Momoh, and Osy Ikhile also feature. Following a premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year, the film is slated to land in theaters October 25.
