TNF Coats Become Pandas for The North Face Renewed By RÆBURN
British designer Christopher Raeburn has been exploring the world of reworking and upcycling garments since he founded his East-London studio in 2008. While many labels make their first forays into the world of sustainable production now, RÆBURN has already perfected the art. It’s an art that secured RÆBURN a collaboration with The North Face back in 2019 when the two labels combined to produce a collection of three bags made from TNF tent parts. Three years on, the partnership has reached its second chapter — The North Face Renewed By RÆBURN — and you can shop the collection exclusively through Zalando Plus.
We’re not surprised that there’s a chapter two. The North Face Renewed is the brand’s way of giving used clothing a second chance. Whether that’s refurbishing, cleaning, or repairing, TNF pieces are prepared for new adventures, an idea that aligns perfectly with RÆBURN’s ethos. Now synonymous with collaborative, responsible design, the British brand has pioneered a thoughtful creative process, transforming old, irreparable products into stylish and purposeful products. It’s a natural fit and the outcome proves it.
For the second part of The North Face Renewed By RÆBURN, an exclusive series of limited-edition panda rucksacks will give The North Face down jackets a new life. These jackets, unsalvageable for one reason or another, are completely deconstructed to create a selection of high-quality core ingredients. The core ingredients then combine to create a completely unique, handmade panda backpack which acts as a pre-teaser for The North Face Renewed Capsule Collection. This will also be available exclusively in the Zalando Plus program from July 1.
Be sure to sign up to Zalando Plus for access to the strictly exclusive The North Face Renewed By RÆBURN Panda Backpack on May 27.
