Cactus Jack
1 / 6

Rumors of a Travis Scott x PlayStation collab began circulating when Sony announced its "creative partnership" with the rapper and his Cactus Jack imprint. In a trailer for the hyped PlayStation 5, Scott then teased a joint Dunk Low as well as some gaming merch, which got fans buzzing.

Fast forward to November 2020, and La Flame finally unveiled the sneaker as part of an ultra-limited giveaway, where only five winners were selected. The contest came and went, however, and still no real-life imagery was anywhere to be found, leading some to question whether or not the Dunk actually existed. Months later, we can now confirm the PlayStation-branded pair is in fact a real thing, thanks to a couple photos from @unkwn.faery27shx. The shoe is seen on-foot, right next to special packaging that reveals the Dunk is a friends and family edition, with just 24 pairs produced.

The "TS5" Dunk features a two-tone upper in a muted blue and grey-brown color scheme. A reverse Swoosh appears on the side – a Cactus Jack signature – with Japanese-style PlayStation branding on the lateral heel and "SONY" embossed on the heel tag. This all sits atop an aged yellow outer sole. "PlayStation" is printed across the soles of the shoes in Japanese on one foot and English on the other.

To accompany his limited-edition sneaker, Scott previously did an official unboxing of the PS5 on YouTube. That's not all, though. It wouldn't be a Travis Scott release without some merch. The rapper dropped over 35 items of PlayStation-inspired Cactus Jack merch on his webstore, including hoodies, jackets, pants, a bean bag chair, a duffle bag, posters, and more.

So now that we've learned pairs of Scott's PlayStation Dunks actually are out there in the world, it still remains to be seen whether or not the sneaker will release to the public. At this point, your guess is as good as ours, but be sure to check back with us for the latest on the buzzing collab.
