Editor’s Notes: Uniqlo U is back with a new selection of styles for FW19, designed by Christophe Lemaire and his team at the Uniqlo Paris R&D Center. The collection consists of evolved LifeWear essentials crafted from innovative materials designed to combat the weather of fall and winter.

As outerwear is always a focal point for fall and winter, Uniqlo U crafts its jackets and coats from proprietary fabrics such as BLOCKTECH, a soft material that is waterproof, windproof, and breathable. BLOCKTECH is used on the construction of the duffle coat for men, as there are additional BLOCKTECH coats for men and women featuring a checkered pattern. Also for FW19, Uniqlo U pairs straight leg corduroy and denim pants with boxy tops.
