Veilance
1 / 10

It's as if Veilance heard your calls; its Fall/Winter 2021 lookbook has landed to prepare you for the elements.

Whether it's rain, wind, or shine, Arc'teryx is the professional when it comes down to facing the weather head-on. A brand cosigned by Drake, Virgil, and your adventure-loving relative who can't stop telling you about the protective qualities of GORE-TEX, Arc is undoubtedly another case of high-performance adopted by high fashion.

If your needs include staying dry while collecting your morning coffee, jumping in at the deep end with an alpine-ready jacket might be a step too far. The midpoint between performance and style? That's Veilance.

With Veilance, Arc'teryx looks to city dwellers and provides them with the tools to face the elements in style. Expensive tools, we might add, but tools nonetheless. FW21 widens the scope of the brand, both through product selection and palette, to create a collection with a more inviting allure than those before it. It's still everyday wardrobe meets high-performance but this outing feels less intimidating.

If you were to give the lookbook a quick scan, you might find yourself dazzled by the brightly saturated pops of color. In and amongst the traditionally tonal palette are hues of green and blue that look as if they've been pulled from Arc'teryx's mainline. It's a daring step over the line that separates Arc from Veilance, offering the same youthful street appeal of the newly launched System_A.

All bases for your daily commute are, of course, covered; with small bags, a range of outerwear silhouettes, pants, and blazers all accounted for. This collection probably won't get your performancewear relative off your back, but at least you won't get wet moving between your home and the office.

While you pick out your favorite pieces from the Arc'teryx Veilance Fall/Winter 2021 lookbook, we'll be sure to keep you updated with further release details.
