See Inside Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" Exhibition in Atlanta
Virgil Abloh is on to the second stop of his "Figures of Speech" national tour, as the retrospective exhibition is now on display at the High Museum of Art Atlanta, following a stint in Chicago, near Abloh's hometown of Rockford, Illinois.
For those unfamiliar, "Figures of Speech" is a survey of Virgil's work, which spans nearly two decades. In addition to finished artworks, the exhibition also showcases prototypes, product designs, and fashion, ultimately revealing the inspirations behind his creative process. The installation includes a look at Abloh's signature collections, videos of his most memorable shows, and music highlights, alongside his furniture, design, and graphic work.
Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" is on display at Atlanta's High Museum through March 8, 2020. Once the exhibition wraps, it will venture on to Boston and then Brooklyn.
