Editor's Notes: Nike has released official imagery of a brand new Virgil Abloh-designed Off-White™ x Nike Blazer Low.

The product images follow preliminary shots of the sneaker by Theophilus London, who described the shoe as the "first posthumous release from Nike ever." As the rapper's photos revealed, the collaborative Blazer is accompanied by a pamphlet paying tribute to Abloh, who died in November after battling a rare form of cancer.

"Our brother Virgil grabbed the codes and flipped em and made [oragami-esque] flowers for the world to smell!" London captioned his slideshow of photos spotlighting the shoe.

When Nike officially introduced the white and black colorways of the collaborative Blazer Low, it offered a close look at the shoe's intricate lace detailing and funky TPU heel piece inspired directly from Nike's Terra Humara trail runner.

“Can we… splice the real Humara tooling and fuse it into a vulcanized sole," Abloh reportedly texted the Nike team during the Blazer Low's ideation phase.

Back in December, the release of the collaborative sneaker was delayed as the world mourned Abloh's death. Now, Nike will drop the shelved silhouette in remembrance of the visionary designer's legacy.

The sneaker screams Abloh in shape and form. Retaining the Blazer's low, streamlined profile, the shoe features circular, Swiss cheese-like cut-outs and a heel piece that elongates the back of the midsole into a point.

A secondary cord lacing system, red Swoosh, and Off-White™'s signature zip tie tag finish off the deconstructed style.

Nike appears to be seeding the shoes to Abloh's close friends and collaborators before a general release on April 8.
