Highsnobiety
Double Tap to Zoom

Released today, Kevin McDonald's (State of Play, The Last King of Scotland) Marley looks to be one not to miss. Following the life and music of a legend, this uplifting documentary perhaps looks past his many flaws and indiscretions a little too much to be described as thorough. The film places Bob's rise firmly in the context of Jamaica and Rastafarianism as it stood at the time, offering up something for those who wouldn't describe themselves as hardcore followers. Produced by Ziggy Marley and Island Records founder Chris Blackwell, a film made with great affection for the man.
