Over the summer, Nike confirmed the return of its most legendary sneaker ever, the Wu-Tang Clan x Nike Dunk High.

Wu-Tang Clan needs no introduction as one of the most influential hip hop groups out of New York, which includes members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Ol' Dirty Bastard.

Wu-Tang's impact goes far beyond music, as evident with the collective's extremely coveted Nike Dunks. Wu-Tang's Nike sneakers saw a super duper limited launch in 1999. According to reports, only 36 pairs were created, nodding Wu-Tang's 36 chambers.

A lucky few have successfully scored pairs over the years, including Nike collaborator Travis Scott. But for many, Wu-Tang's Nike Dunks remain sneakerheads' holy grail shoes.

Expect the familiar black and pollen yellow colorblocking to dress the Nike Dunk High model, which is also swaddled in high-quality leather for this re-release.

Wu-Tang's signature "W" logo again appears throughout the sneaker, landing on the tongue and heel as a representation of authenticity and rebellion.

The legendary drop caps off with an exclusive Wu-Tang x Nike tee, which reads "C.R.E.A.M." (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) after the group's hit song.
