Double Tap to Zoom

An item that was dubbed as the hottest item in menswear by LYST earlier in the year, adidas YEEZY Slides have managed to squarely hit a cultural zeitgeist since they were first released two years ago, in December 2019.

As the world went into lockdown, they proved to be the perfect cozy house shoe as we slipped on the squishy design to work from home and participate in Zoom quizzes. However, the outside world slowly re-opening does not mean that anyone's slides are left collecting dust and new colorways are continuing to sell out to this day, making the resell market your best bet for copping a pair (as is the case with almost everything YEEZY-related).

The design's bulky shape created entirely from EVA foam may have raised a few eyebrows when they were first released, but it has proven to be a winning design. In fact, it was so popular that knockoff pairs quickly made their way onto Walmart shelves, causing the adidas Yeezy team to sue the multinational retail corporation.

To celebrate its two-year anniversary, we've taken a deep dive into the resale market and picked out some of the hottest pairs to have been released since their inception. From the signature neutral-hued designs to the newer pairs where 'Ye turns the saturation up to maximum, check out the YEEZY Slides available at a reasonable resale price below. If you're on the hunt for apparel, be sure to check out what we found when shopping for resale YEEZY x GAP.
