Liam Hodges is a luxury streetwear clothing brand founded by fashion designer Liam Hodges in 2013 in London, UK. He combines influences from subcultures with contemporary streetwear designs with sustainability in mind.
Hodges aims to use upcycled materials and continuously works towards creating less waste in his designs. The contemporary design icon has previously teamed up with well-known brands, including notable sportswear labels Fila and Ellesse, workwear-inspired apparel Carhartt, and champagne retailer Veuve Clicquot.
Dressing A-listers such as P.Diddy, FKA Twigs, Drake, Danny Brown, and Big Sean, to name just a few, London-based streetwear designer Liam Hodges’ clothing brand has been labeled as a “luxury brand for the mad and bad ones.”
Liam Hodges’ clothing taps into postmodernism and male subcultures – specifically drawing inspiration from lads all-sorts across the UK – bringing together streetwear, workwear, and tailoring with oversized fits – with a strong graphic language and signature patchwork.
He aims to serve the always-online digital generation empowered by knowledge and information, designing clothes “his mates would wear” from his studio space in Newham, East London.
Hodges studied menswear in London’s Royal College of Arts and graduated in 2013. He debuted his first fashion collection for Fashion East in 2014, which was immediately well-received, gaining recognition for his raw, playful take on sportswear and workwear. The collection was quickly snapped up by Tokyo retailer Gr8 among other global retailers.
