2013

2014

Tha Carter V release date is pushed back for a second time. Wayne issues a statement stating that Cash Money Records boss Birdman refuses to release the album. Wayne claims he is being held “prisoner.”

2015

Wayne self-releases Sorry 4 tha Wait 2 – a mixtape intended to compensate for the delay of Tha Carter V.

Wayne sues Birdman and Cash Money Records for a reported $51 million.

Wayne releases Free Weezy exclusively through TIDAL as one of the new artist owners.

2016

Wayne releases Gone ‘Til November – a memoir and revealing account of his time spent incarcerated.

2018

2019
