2007
Marwan and his family are forced to flee the Gaza Strip and relocate to Amman, Jordan.
2020
Before taking on the stage name Saint Levant, Marwan wrote and published the songs “Jerusalem Freestyle” and “Nirvana in Gaza,” which started to gain traction for his unique rap style of combining traditional Arabic music with R&B and hip-hop, as well as use of the songs as a platform to discuss important political issues.
2022
Saint Levant receives his Bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
In November of the same year, Saint Levant releases his single “Very Few Friends,” which garners around 2 million views on YouTube in one month and became a hit on TikTok and Instagram.
2023
On the 6th of March, Saint Levant releases his first EP, “From Gaza, with Love,” which he dedicates to his first 10 years growing up in Gaza.
2024
Saint Levant signs with Universal Arabic Music (UAM) and releases his album “Deira,” which is the name of the beachfront hotel his father Rashid designed located in Gaza City, which was later destroyed by bombings in 2023. The album features many tracks that discuss Palestinian struggles and activism.
Saint Levant performs at Coachella 2024 with his unmistakable white tank top and announces his tour that kicks off in September 2024.
